Role Description: 

The Senior Manager, Congress Lead will operationalize AstraZeneca’s breast franchise strategy through Congress execution. Responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing compliant congress activation activities. This role will work in close collaboration with franchise counterparts and cross-functional partners and drive executional alignment across multiple breast cancer brands and indications through operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Drive congress execution across AstraZeneca’s breast cancer franchise 

• Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and external agencies to align efforts and execute initiatives. 

• Manage budget and associated AZ processes 

• Lead the tactical elements of the annual operational planning process in partnership with agencies and cross-functional partners 

• Manage partner agency relationships, workflow and related project budgets – including timely operations (e.g. POs, invoices, etc.)
