Assistant Athletic Director - Football Chief of Staff

Louisiana Tech University is seeking candidates for the full-time, 12-month position of Assistant Athletics Director - Football Chief of Staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years experience with a college or professional athletics program
• Advanced computer skills
• Good organization, leadership, and communication skills are expected 
• Willing to handle a variety of administrative and management duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach with the daily operation of all aspects of the Football Program.
• Assist the Head Coach with ensuring the overall philosophy and program directive of the Head Coach are implemented.
• Works in concert with Asst. AD for Football Operations on player and staff onboarding duties – involving Human Resources and other on campus departments.
• Serve as Liaison to Coaching Staff & Administration.
• Coordinates and manages all relative logistics related to team events such as camps, clinics, pro-day, fundraising, recruiting, and all other special projects as assigned by Head Coach.
• Assists the Asst. AD for Football Operations with planning and execution of team travel.
• Liaison in coordination with the football recruiting staff for incoming signees and their families, including but not limited to housing, orientation, and move-in.
• Act as official host for NFL Scouts – coordinate with scouts on their visits and providing player information.
• Works with Asst. AD for Football Operations in organization and execution of all on-campus events related to the Football Program.
• All other duties as required relative to support of the Head Football Coach and the Football Program.
