 SUMMARY

The Learning and Evaluation department supports CRCD’s mission of being a results-driven organization that provides high-quality programming. The Associate Director of Learning & Evaluation will support a range of organizational learning and development efforts, including advancing the organization’s research, monitoring, evaluation, and inquiry work to inform strategy. Associate Director of L&E will support data management for all programmatic departments in the organization. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Position roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Staff Supervision and Coaching

  • Provide supervision and      performance management for L&E data team (six full-time staff) including project management of annual workplans and departmental priorities. Provide coaching and continuous learning opportunities for all data staff. 
  • Supervise reporting manager and data analysts with completing monthly and quarterly grant outcome reports.
  • Support programming to develop a cycle of improvement through data coaching. Develop and lead staff trainings on data inquiry techniques. 

Data Management and Inquiry Support

  • Implement and supervise data collection, validation, and migration practices and procedures to ensure reporting is accurate, reliable, and efficient.
  • Develop and continuously update data quality protocols aligned with grant compliance requirements and industry standard best practices.
  • Direct and guide creation of data monitoring tools such as dashboards, rubrics, data flowcharts, etc. that align with existing tools (such as performance measures, logic models, etc.). Provide coaching, feedback, and training resources data inquiry and reporting best practices. 
  • Support evaluation and development of high-impact programs. Establish logic models, program flows, and performance measures and outcomes that are aligned with program goals and needs of the community.
  • Support in development and implementation of quantitative and qualitative evaluation and assessment protocols such as      surveys, focus group interview guides, scorecards, performance rubrics, etc.

Perform other duties related to the position as requested by Senior Director of Learning and Evaluation.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of related experience. Experience working in a non-profit setting highly preferred.
  • Two years of experience supervising personnel related to data systems and data analysis. Demonstrated leadership ability      and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Highly skilled in quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience interpreting outcome and evaluation data for informed programmatic decision-making and improvement. 
  • Understanding of designing, planning, conducting, and evaluating one or more service areas in which CRCD is engaged.
  • Strong project management skills, professional written and verbal communication, and detail oriented. 
  • Excellent data visualization and presentation skills. Knowledge in using Excel or other software to develop graphs and tables for a general audience. Tableau experience a plus.
  • Competence in navigating data management software. Experience with Salesforce or other case management software, highly preferred.
  • Deadline-drive with the ability to multi-task to handle various projects and responsibilities.
  • Self-directed and capable of working to meet quick turnaround and deadlines independently.

· Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by law.
