Compensation: In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

About the Program: Residential Treatment Program (STRTP): This short-term residential therapeutic program provides services to pregnant, parenting, and at-risk young women (and their children) ages 13-18 in the foster care and/or juvenile justice system. These youth are typically placed by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) or Probation Department.

Role Summary: Responsible for monitoring, supervising, and guiding the residents in their daily routine.  Provides a healthy, therapeutic and safe environment for residents and their children in their direct care.

• Schedule:
  • Wednesday - Saturday; 11:00pm to 8:00am, with a flex day 11:00pm to 8:00am
• Location: 155 N Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision, protection, and care of residents individually and in groups at all time.
• Provide assistance to each resident in working with a group and in handling individual problems.
• Administer discipline and setting of limits for behavior.
• Document residents’ progress; identify possible need for professional services; communicate such findings to professional staff.
