Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Sr. Director of Solution Architecture to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions across our operational systems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, engineering, infrastructure, product, and business leaders—to align technology architecture with business goals, focusing on operational efficiency, process automation, and platform resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Architecture Leadership
  • Define and maintain the operational architecture vision and roadmap in alignment with business and IT strategy.
  • Lead the solution architecture team focused on operations, including supply chain, logistics, field services, and enterprise platforms (ERP, EAM, etc.).
  • Evaluate and recommend modern technologies and architectural patterns to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Solution Design & Governance
  • Oversee the design of end-to-end solutions supporting operational functions, ensuring adherence to architecture standards, scalability, and integration best practices.
  • Establish architecture governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across all operational systems.
  • Lead solution reviews, architecture assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with operations leadership to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on operational architecture and transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with IT, DevOps, and Security to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of solution architects and technical leads.
  • Mentor team members to ensure continuous skill development and alignment with architectural best practices.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record designing and implementing solutions in operational domains (e.g., logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, field operations, etc.).
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and solution design methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs/microservices, data integration, and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, EAM, or CMMS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in agile and hybrid environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with business process re-engineering or digital transformation in operations.
• Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF), cloud platforms, or ITIL.
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, energy, manufacturing) is a plus.
