Join us!</p><p>We’re looking for an experienced and highly enthusiastic DevOps engineer to join the team. You will be contributing to maintaining, testing and deploying next-generation blockchain technologies that are accessible to users and businesses around the world. In this role, you will work with cutting edge tools, including Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and others.  We’re moving and growing fast, so expect high dynamics and plenty of challenges in your day-to-day work!</p> <h3><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of practical experience as devops engineering or combined experience with other technical fields such as software engineering or systems engineering </li> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible as orchestration/configuration management tool</li> <li>Experience working with three or more from the following</li> <ul> <li>Linux/Unix environment (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine)</li> <li>Version control tools like GIT, GitHub, Subversion (SVN)</li> <li>Creating customized Dockerfiles following Docker best practices</li> <li>Create/manage microservice architectures utilizing Docker Compose</li> <li>Experience with building and packaging software written in Java, NodeJS, C++ for multiple platforms (Linux, MacOS, Windows, Android, iOS) and debugging common build issues</li> </ul> <li>Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps Methodologies as primary focus on CI (Continuous Integration), CD (Continuous Delivery), Pipeline, Build and Deploy automation</li> <li>Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English</li> <li>You are passionate about the promise of blockchain technology </li> <li>You aren’t afraid of working in a fast paced environment, understanding when to ask for help or when to pull up your sleeves to get stuff done</li> <li>Self motivated and results oriented </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience bringing large scale projects to production and maintaining high quality of service</li> <li>Experience working in Agile teams </li> <li>Knowledge of blockchain architecture and internals </li> <li>Experience with various CI Tools like Travis-CI, Github Actions</li> <li>Familiarity with Kubernetes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Horizen Labs is an equal opportunity employer</strong></p> <p>Horizen Labs is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
