About the role

The Lead Pharmacy Technician is responsible for oversight of technician training, ongoing competence and process, technician scheduling, directing technician workflow, and product quality control. This position will also contribute to developing and implementing department goals and objectives, and policies and procedures, and participate in recruitment and hiring processes. These duties are performed under the immediate supervision and control of a licensed pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician training program.
  • California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hospital or home infusion experience in sterile parenteral product preparation preferred.
  • Completion of approved pharmacy technician training program.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
