Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting FABco’s product sales operations by managing customer orders, preparing quotes, and serving as a primary point of contact for customers and internal teams. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely communication, and coordination with operations and logistics. The position requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service and timely responses.
  • Process sales orders, prepare quotes, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (inventory, logistics, finance) to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pricing information in the CRM system.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support outside sales representatives by providing product information, pricing, and order updates.
  • Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and company offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications


Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience in a B2B environment, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to commute to work location

Physical Requirements (ADA Compliance):

  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a desk for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Clear vision (with or without corrective lenses) for reading and computer work.
  • Ability to communicate clearly over the phone and in-person.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based position in a professional business environment.
  • Standard office hours with occasional overtime based on business needs.
  • Minimal to no travel required.
