Position Title: Adopt-a-Family Intern

Description:

Savio is seeking a dedicated intern to assist with our annual holiday gift drive for families in need. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring that over 200 families receive wish list items and toys during the holiday season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community outreach, and nonprofit operations.

This position will be required November 25th- December 20th

What does the Adopt-a-Family Intern do?

· Assist in collecting donations of toys and other holiday gifts

· Organize gifts for our therapeutic teams

· Greet donors and provide excellent customer service

· Enter data

· Assist with acknowledgements and phone calls

· Wrap gifts as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Compensation: $20 per hour

Duration: November 25th – December 20th ; 10 hours per week

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be available November 25th – December 20th with additional availability either the weekends of December 6-8th or December 13th-15th is preferred.

· Good communication skills: verbal and written

· Can stand and work for extended periods, especially during peak times close to holidays

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
