Responsibilities:
YOY Sales Growth / Meet Sales Plan: The CS is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the annual sales plan and year-over-year growth targets as defined by management and educational program KPIs determined by the Clinical Manager.
Sales Pipeline / Meet Strategic Growth Targets & Initiatives: The CS is responsible for identifying target opportunities and/or accounts, as well as developing and implementing a strategy to maintain a sufficient sales pipeline needed to achieve the strategic growth targets. Demonstrates a solid understanding of the disease states and products sold in the territory and transfers this information into sales opportunities. Stays abreast of and can comfortably discuss the latest industry/ market/ product trends.
Identify, Drive, and Manage New Opportunities: The CS is responsible for identifying new opportunities, then driving and managing those opportunities (as needed internally and/or externally) to commercialization.
Independent and flexible with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Take Ownership of Customers / Build & Maintain Excellent Customer Relationships: The CS is responsible for taking co-ownership KOLs to ensure that a positive customer relationship is developed and maintained ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved.
Communication and Reporting: The CS must communicate effectively and adapt style to fit diverse audiences and forums. Also, is responsible for communicating and reporting activities, itineraries, strategies, program developments, etc. as defined by management.
Support Functions (Trade Shows, Sales Meetings, etc.): The CS is responsible for participating and providing support to trade shows, sales meetings, and other clinical/sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management.
Expense Management / Effective use of Travel and Expenses: The CS is responsible for maintaining effective use of travel and expenses as defined by management and in accordance with Corporate Travel and Expense policies.
Clinical Research Development: Read and critically interpret relevant literature, standards, and guidelines to provide regular internal updates, implement best practices and support evidence-based marketing and education initiatives.
Clinical Research: Development of internal research SOPs, study designs, protocols, case report forms, statistical analytical plans and other study-specific documents essential to appropriate implementation and execution of clinical studies. Studies must be conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Qualifications:
Master degree in Speech language pathology related.
Annual ASHA National Accreditation Certificate or national accreditation.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of clinical voice restoration experience or related experience.
Must have clinical research design and interpretation experience.
Strong Communication Skills (Oral & Written).
Strong Computer Skills (Communication, Presentation, and Reporting).
Excellent Organizational / Multi-Tasking Skills.
High Level of Customer Focus & Self Initiative.
Self-Managed (capable of working from remote location with limited supervision).
Strong Relationship Skills / Team Player (internal & external).
70% Travel Required (utilizing effective travel practices).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
Strong in depth knowledge of promoted products, competitors, physiology, medical literature and scientific innovations.
Ability to apply strategic thought, planning and execution to maximize sales opportunities within key accounts.
Ability to adapt selling approach with multiple specialties and customer segments.
Provide leadership and coaching, self-development planning and focus on teambuilding to capitalize on and build upon self and strength of others.
Effectively utilize computer software and technology enabled sales resources planning, forecasting, reviewing sales activity, researching data, supporting sales calls, medical education presentations.
