JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the business plan, product roadmaps, resources, programs and processes to meet the financial plan for Silvaco’s EDA Business Unit. Based on the analysis of market trends, competitive landscape assessment, and identification of growth opportunities, the candidate will lead the definition of marketing/sales business models, pricing and packaging strategies, overall positioning and the creation of internal and external collateral. This individual will work closely with the field organization, key customers and strategic partners to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic business opportunities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for segment marketing and strategic business analysis of key market segments like Foundries, Communication, Computing, Power, etc. The candidate will collaborate with the entire business unit to drive a cohesive strategy for these vertical applications. We are looking for a curious, openminded spirit. The candidate will report to the VP & GM of the Business Unit.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:

• Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategy for Silvaco’s EDA Portfolio.

• Creation of strategic and tactical marketing plans.

• Generation of marketing requirements documents.

• Assist in creation of product roadmaps including TAM/SAM/SOM analysis.

• New product rollouts.

• Sales channel / FAE communication and training.

• Demand creation/promotional initiatives including lead source management.

• Business development/customer meetings.

• Promotion of product lines through participation in industry events.

• Analysis of vertical trends and required solutions through customer engagement and markets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Semiconductor Design/EDA experience a must; deep understanding of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry, with a proven track record of successful product marketing management

• 7+ yrs experience in EDA and/or the semiconductor space with at least 3-5 years in a product management role.

• BS EE or CS with design or SW development experience desirable

• MBA is a plus

• Effective communication, presentation and technical writing skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and corporate marketing teams

• Travel and a willingness to work a flexible schedule required

• Demonstrates effective oral, written, and strategic abilities.

• Displays strong analytical abilities in both quantitative and qualitative areas.

• Possesses good communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management.
