Key Responsibilities:
KBR was selected to support the US Space Force/Air Force Research Laboratory’s ASTRO (Advanced Space Technology Research and Optimization) contract to provide mission equipment operations, maintenance, and upgrades to the USSF’s AMOS site in Maui, Hawaii. The AMOS site plays a vital role in national security by monitoring man-made objects in space and continuously developing next-generation capabilities to keep pace with the expanding space domain. This presents an incredible opportunity to push the boundaries of space and telescope technologies. In this role, you’ll use your expertise as an ISSO to maintain 24/7/365 readiness in support of USSF operations and specialized missions.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accreditation of development/telescope control networks, including RMF and continuous ATO best practices to support rapid development/deployment of software while improving security.
Works with Software Engineering staff to implement best DevSecOps practices for establishing/managing/administering/accrediting networks to support AMOS mission requirements.
Maintains developmental/mission network ATOs, audits those networks to ensure system security policy/information assurance compliance, manages changes to those networks/systems, assesses the security impact of those network/system changes (through audits or stress testing), and supporting general IA tasks pertaining to those networks/systems as directed by KBR/Government leadership with specific attention to maintaining separation of duties/continuity of 24/7/365 operations.
Maintains accreditation of development/telescope control networks, including RMF and continuous ATO best practices to support rapid development/deployment of software while improving security.
Supports test activities, technical troubleshooting, and anomaly resolution
Implement/manage/accredit DevSecOps to support AMOS mission requirements
As needed, work with SW developers to establish and manage DevSecOps environments to support SW development and tst prior to deployment on mission equipment/networks
Qualifications:
Certification: Minimum IAM Level 2.
