Senior Python Software Engineer

Our advanced software leverages analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to support every stage of the credit and lending lifecycle, remaining at the forefront of fintech innovation.</p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled<strong> Senior Python Software Engineer</strong> with experience in AI/ML development and multitenant architectures to help build and evolve our next-generation platform.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain complex multitenant AI/ML applications using Python, implementing tenant isolation via schema-per-tenant, RLS, or dedicated stores;</li><li>Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems;</li><li>Lead efforts to design robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for AI/ML systems to ensure reliability and quick incident response;</li><li>Participate in architectural discussions to evolve the AI/ML platform, improve multitenancy patterns, and incorporate emerging technologies (i.e. GenAI) for enhanced product capabilities;</li><li>Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services supporting AI workflows and product features;</li><li>Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit, regression, e2e and mutation testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Mentor junior developers on Python development and AI/ML implementation; </li><li>Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security in AI/ML solutions;</li><li>Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of strong Python programming experience, especially applied to AI/ML software development;</li><li>Proficient with Python AI/ML frameworks such as Keras, HuggingFace Transformers, LangGraph or similar, and libraries like NumPy, pandas, Pydantic and Scikit-learn;</li><li>Experience in building scalable multitenant AI/ML products incorporating cutting edge technology into production environments;</li><li>Proven experience with multitenancy patterns, tenant-aware middleware, routing: Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud (Azure/AWS), and data isolation; </li><li>Strong skills in secure API design, async/event-driven systems, like FastAPI;</li><li>Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus;</li><li>Basic understanding of algorithms, machine learning concepts, and model optimization techniques;</li><li>Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code;</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team;</li><li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields;</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;</li><li>Experience in the Fintech or Banking industry is advantageous;</li><li>Willingness to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Your Life @ Qualco</strong></p><p>As a #Qmember, you will live out every day in a truly human-centred culture, based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation.
