Riverside Research is seeking a part-time Modeling & Simulation Software Tool Analyst to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.  This position will be part of a multidisciplinary team evaluating a number of prototype modeling & simulation tools. 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Evaluate accessibility of prototype tools currently hosted within third-party developmental environments 
  • Identify optimal platform for transition of tools for operational use
  • Apply tools to various scenarios; identify strengths, deficiencies, and enhancement opportunities
  • Prepare operating instructions for select tools
  • Assess performance, results and capabilities of select tools to meet current and emerging analytical requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, software development, computer science or similar technical fields
  • Intelligence professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle to include analysis and production
  • Experience in modeling and simulation of various types of air vehicles
  • Proficient in a various software languages and applications to include Python, C++, C#, and MATLAB
  • Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
  • Open to occasional travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) intelligence analysis and production processes
  • Master's degree in engineering, software development, computer science or similar technical field
