Job Summary
Responsible for leading research, development, planning, design, maintenance and implementation of policies and programs that enhance the organization's relations with the community, the public, governmental and regulatory authorities, shareholders and employees. Manages non- exempt, professional employees and/or supervisors and may manage business support/technical staff. Has accountability for managing financial resources. Provides subject matter guidance to employees. Has overall responsibility for developing/administering performance standards for organizational unit. Core Responsibilities
Coordinates the distribution of the organization's messages through presentations, news or trade media contacts, special events, public speaking, or other means to reach defined audiences and meet specific program objectives.
Coordinates and supervises corporate affairs activities/projects that enhances the organization's relations.
Acts as a liaison with the community, the public, governmental and regulatory authorities, shareholders and employees to ensure goals are met in an efficient and timely manner.
Implements internal operational efficiencies and tracking system to measure effectiveness of initiatives.
Supports execution and planning for digital equity strategic portfolio for engagement and activation efforts to accelerate internet adoption.
Responsible for supporting network expansion to help bridge the digital divide by leveraging Comcast’s digital equity assets.
Oversee the creation, publishing, and maintenance of the team SharePoint site by developing an ongoing content management strategy and establishing guidelines for content management.
Understand the business impact of diversity, equity & inclusion and leverage key metrics, communications, and strategies to drive positive business outcomes and amplify the power of storytelling.
Help integrate the community impact strategy into the overarching business, to meet business goals.
Develop and recommend materials, resources, toolkits, and new tools to support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) engagement.
Project manage the activation strategy and region operational processes for Lift Zones.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
