Job Description

We are running a major transformation in the custody area, implementing a new IT platform that will support business and operations in future-proofing services. You will get the opportunity to contribute to this initiative by working with requirements, testing, and automation in a large-scale program.

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will provide expertise in test automation, performance testing, and migration testing. Part of the role will involve mentoring and guiding system and acceptance testers on how to test efficiently in a large program. You will also take hands-on responsibility for integration testing and developing automation capabilities.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will ensure proper test structures are in place and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including program test leads, product owners, architects, tech leads, and project managers.

 

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear and actionable documentation.

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand features and technical implementations.

  • Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure ongoing product stability.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and strategies.

  • Mentor and support other testers to build knowledge and testing efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

 

  • Extensive experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.

  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).

  • Experience in integration testing within complex system landscapes.

  • Solid understanding of migration testing strategies and challenges.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

  • Experience mentoring and guiding other testers or QA engineers.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in large-scale programs.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
