Your role at Baxter

Examine, diagnose and correct operational problems related to the equipment in the process of manufacturing and plant building areas. Validate project to improve efficiency of the production machine.

What you'll be doing

• Work within a cross functional team on the creation or modification of:
  • Process flow within the Manufacturing Department
  • Manufacturing Work Instructions and related documents
  • Field Service procedures and manuals
  • Fixtures, tooling, equipment and systems
  • IQ, OQ, and PQ of fixtures, tooling, and equipment
• Create, release and train personnel on, new procedures, instructions, fixtures, tooling and systems.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing difficulties including, but not limited to:
  • Non-Conformance Material evaluations and dispositions
  • Component or assembly substitution evaluations and approvals
  • Deviations and rework instructions
• Resolution of CAPA’s
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
  • Corrective Action
  • Preventative Action
  • Measures of Effectiveness

What you'll bring

• BS degree in Engineering
• 3-5 years related experience

• Display a solid technical understanding of engineering principles and procedures (e.g. CAD and its application or scheduling a series of technical tasks utilizing software-based tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Understand and articulate how own role ties within function or discipline
• Excellent written communication skills
• Demonstration application of engineering principles on individual/small projects
• Prefer experience with TQM methods (e.g. "six sigma") or LEAN manufacturing environment. Green Belt or Black Belt certification helpful

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
