What we are looking for:
A Distribution Technician that will be responsible for loading packaged finished goods on trailers for shipment and is responsible for unloading packaged materials, labeling, and putting up in the warehouses.  He/she also stages raw materials and intermediates for the Operations Department and returns unused portions to storage.  They assist in monitoring packaged inventory accuracy through routine cycle counting.  Keep warehouses clean and organized.

 

We count on you for: 

• Load packaged finished goods for moving quickly to customers and distribution centers.
• Pull and stage raw materials, intermediates, and part drums for Production Department.
• Unload, inspect, label, and put up packaged raw materials.
• Conform to ISO and HSE procedures and guidelines.
• Cycle counting of packaged raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Receive packaged raw materials and new empty packages into RCS/SAP.
• Special duties may be assigned as workloads vary in other departments, (like helping Production drum).
• Work overtime as needed on busy days.
• Keep warehouse, office area, and other work areas clean.
• Perform various other duties as necessary
• Help warehouse lead with sample shipments
• Get certification in packaging to assist production when needed

You will bring:

• High school diploma
• Familiarity with plant product line.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and yard tractors.
• Computer skills include Windows, Word, Excel, Gmail, and SAP.
• Current on DOT and IMDG Haz-Mat requirements
• Knowledge of the 49 CFR Hazardous Material Regulations manual.

Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
