Job Description

Oteemo is seeking a Mid-Level and Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Administrator

  • Administer and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting mission systems and development environments
  • Support Kubernetes platform administration including cluster operations, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and administer Linux-based environments supporting cloud-native workloads
  • Support hybrid cloud networking and secure connectivity across distributed environments
  • Implement automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
  • Monitor platform health, performance, and system reliability across cloud resources
  • Assist with cloud optimization initiatives including resource utilization and cost management
  • Support implementation of security controls, hardening activities, and compliance requirements for Navy-accredited cloud environments
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native delivery workflows
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and participate in operational support activities during peak mission periods
  • Maintain documentation, architecture artifacts, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5 years of experience administering cloud infrastructure environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments
  • Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms and containerized applications
  • Experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise environments
  • Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform services
  • Experience working within government, defense, or regulated environments preferred
  • Ability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week in College Park, MD 
  • (1) Senior Cloud Admin: Requires a cloud administrator with 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux administration. This individual will also serve as the team lead, guiding team direction and supporting the program's cloud architecture and strategy.
  • (2) Mid-Level Cloud Admin: Requires a cloud administrator with 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.


 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Required Technical SkillsSecret or Top Secret clearance.

  • Security Best Practices for Cloud Environments
  • Required Certifications (NSWC DD CSWF Compliance)

    Candidates must possess one active baseline certification from the following:

  • Security+ CE
  • CySA+
  • GSEC
  • CCNA Security

The Cloud Administrators shall provide proof of an active certification in one of the certificates below.

- Security+ CE

- CySA+

- GSEC

- CCNA Security

Operating System Certification

The Cloud Administrators shall provide proof of completing a training or course in one of the below Operating Systems during the current fiscal year.

- Linux+

- RedHat
