This is a full-time hybrid internship that requires three days on-site at the Dawn Foods Kansas City Distribution Center, with the remaining time spent working remotely from home.

 

Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.

 

What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods? 

Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.

• Must be pursuing a Supply Chain/Logistics or Business bachelor’s degree and completed sophomore year with an interest in Logistics.
• Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
• Strong interest in the logistics, warehousing or transportation.
• Experience with Microsoft excel and basic functions such as pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
