Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II (2nd Shift) - Data Comm. The rate for this position is 22.73 + .50 Shift Differential per hour.
The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

What you’ll do:
- Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
- QC and document all parts run on machines
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
- Keep work areas clean and safe
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

- No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience operating brake or stamping presses
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
- A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Able to operate machinery and presses safely
- Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
- Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material
- Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
- Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
- Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
- Able to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
- Fast paced while maintaining safety priorities
- Exposure to oils, lubricants, and solvents
