Job Purpose:

The Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the parking facility while delivering service that exceeds our customer/clients expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Maintenance staff is responsible for general maintenance, upkeep of the parking deck, and repairs of parking equipment (involving replenishment of tickets). The Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that standards are always met.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Write parking violations and boot cars that are parked illegally. (Subject to location)
• Empty and clean all trash cans; replace with new bag.
• Wipe down elevator, entrance, and exit walls.
• Walk each floor to ensure all trash is picked up.
• Clean cobwebs.
• Ensure all machines are working correctly.
• Painting lines and directions when necessary.
• Operate the sweeper to keep the garage ramps clean. (Subject to location)
• Assist customers when needed.
• Wear proper uniform.
• Follow Customer Service Training policies.

Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• General Maintenance- equipment repair experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Work is performed on-site in the elements either outdoors or inside the parking deck for extended periods including up to the entire duration of shift. Team members are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat, rain, and cold weather. Specific uniforms may be provided for the weather, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
