Patient Registrar - Queens Medical Group - Endocrinology / Diabetes - Flushing - Full Time - Days

As Registrar Receptionist you play a key role, in supporting our 6 Physicians Endocrinology Practice. Use your excellent customer service, communication and computer skills to provide the highest level of service while managing a high volume of inquiries and requests from patients. Greet patients upon arrival, and assist with patient registration, scheduling diagnostic services and physician referral/appointments, updating patient demographics and insurance information.

This position is full -time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm / 9:00am-5:00pm, schedule may change based on operational needs. It located at 174-15 Horace Harding Expressway Fresh Meadows, NY 11365. May be required to go to other Queens Medical Group locations based on operational needs.

Preferred Criteria:

• Physician Medical Practice Experience
• Fluency in Spanish, Chinese or Korean

Required Criteria:

• A minimum of one year clerical experience with knowledge of Medical terminology and insurance verification
• High School Diploma /  GED
