PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for coordinating and scheduling all refined fuel pipeline transactions made by the Refined Fuels Trading Team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyzes, develops, and nominates monthly pipeline schedules for the Gulf Coast, Chicago, and Group Three markets, based upon forward purchases and sales made by the Refined Fuels Trading Team.
Manages the day to day scheduling of GROWMARK pipeline activity to include communication with industry schedulers and internal stakeholders.
Ensures that all scheduling processes take place in a correct and timely manner.
Proactively monitors supply & demand forecasts and recommends any necessary supply adjustments to the Refined Fuels Trading Team.
Verifies Refined Fuel Purchase contract confirmations and assists in troubleshooting any invoice discrepancies.
Maintains daily scheduling reports used for supply meetings, trading activities, and management reporting.
Creates monthly contracts to aid in maintaining a three-month continuous schedule.
Utilizes SAP and Business Objects Reporting to enhance scheduling efficiency and reporting needs.
Assists in collecting and updating tariffs and various costs within SAP on an ongoing basis.
Monitors credit limits and works with Treasury on any credit concerns.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinates activities with appropriate Energy Division personnel and as necessary with other GROWMARK personnel to insure the orderly flow of information.
Acts as backup on various duties normally assigned to Refined and Renewable Fuels Trading Analyst.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of related energy experience to demonstrate the ability to provide refined fuels scheduling leadership to the GROWMARK System.
Understanding and experience with energy-related areas including the ability to learn the industry technical aspects of different fuels, contracting programs, future trading activities, basis relationships, refining and pipeline operations.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
Proactive leader with willingness to take on multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to build industry relationships.
Proven computer skills in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets with the ability to develop complex formulas. Ability to learn GROWMARK software including SAP and Business
