As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
• Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
• Valid Driver's License 
• Law Enforcement Officer License
• 22+ years of age 

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Follow all protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or hazards immediately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
