Cruise is looking for an Operations Manager to enable us to deploy, oversee and improve the performance of our driverless autonomous vehicle fleet in support of ridehail and delivery services.

In this position, you will lead our driverless support teams and closely collaborate with commercialization, engineering, service and other teams to implement driverless operations and expand and scale our operation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Establish and drive the highest standards for driverless operations to ensure everyone is operating safely
• Manage night operations and personnel at Launch and Land sites in Miami to ensure vehicle supply for service and rapid resolution of any issues in facility or in field
• Manage a team of Driverless Support Specialists and Operations Coordinators
• Provide key feedback and updates to counterparts and leadership as needed on key issues and information
• Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and process optimization in service of safely increasing vehicle uptime
• Serve as a key partner in hiring, managing, developing, reviewing and terminating personnel

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of professional work experience in product/av operations, management consulting, rideshare, mobility sectors
• 2+ years of experience directly managing teams
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Ability to handle dynamic assignments, including flexible schedules
• Ability to keep calm and perform well under pressure
• Comfort with ambiguity; bias to action
• Ability to connect with people of all backgrounds and offer immediate, fair, and honest feedback when needed
• Willingness to go above and beyond to fulfill the company’s mission

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $147,100. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
