The Professional Services team is composed of groups of highly intelligent and innovative Project Managers, Professional Service Technical Consultants who are dedicated to delivering a customer experience second to none. What we’re looking for…
ScienceLogic is looking for a Sr Professional Services Technical Consultant to serve as the primary technical interface and onsite subject matter expert to support public sector customers in delivering secure, compliant, and innovative technology solutions for the ScienceLogic product line. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Skylar One, Skylar Automation, and Skylar Compliance, along with strong technical capabilities across cloud platforms, containerization, and automation frameworks. This role requires a proven ability to operate in high-security environments and ensure compliance with federal standards.
What you’ll be doing…
- Provide onsite consulting services and support to ScienceLogic customers with a focus on high quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic appliances as they relate to the ScienceLogic suite or products
- Work closely with customers’ technical and management staff and act as subject matter expert for ScienceLogic products
- Provide strategic consulting and technical guidance for public sector projects leveraging Skylar technologies
- Design, implement, and optimize automation workflows using Skylar Automation
- Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks through Skylar Compliance best practices
- Architect and deploy solutions across AWS and Azure environments
- Implement containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Develop scripts and automation tools using Python and low-code/no-code platforms
- Configure and maintain networking infrastructure and servers (Microsoft and Linux)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions
- Prepare documentation, reports, and compliance artifacts for audits and certifications
Qualities you possess…
- A bachelor degree in computer science/engineering or similar.
- Active Top-Secret clearance or higher, ability to pass a polygraph
- 5+ years of hands-on experience or certifications in:
- Skylar One
- Skylar Automation
- Skylar Compliance
- Or comparable experience with an observability tool
- Strong understanding of federal compliance and security standards
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Effective team player willing to assist others when needed
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Qualities we desire…
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker
- Programing: Python, Low-Code/No-Code development
- Networking fundamentals and server administration (Microsoft Windows Server & Linux)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
