In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

  • Assist emergency veterinarians with advanced procedures and patient care.
  • Perform advanced technical nursing skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication administration, and laboratory sample collection.
  • Monitor patients undergoing anesthesia and provide attentive recovery care.
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care for hospitalized emergency patients.
  • Accurately document treatments, medications, and patient observations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment areas.
  • Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to the medical team.
  • Support emergency procedures and critical patient stabilization.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

What You Bring

  • Current and valid California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
  • Minimum of two years of veterinary experience; emergency, urgent care, or high-volume general practice experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced emergency environment.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to patient care.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client experiences.
