About the role

Provides supervision of the personnel and clinical processes of sleep diagnostics. Guides program advancement, quality assessment, operational and financial direction of pulmonary diagnostic services. Manages the ongoing analysis, development and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. Assists in providing personnel development opportunities as well as in-service and orientation training for team members. Performs duties and tasks of the area's major work functions as needed. 

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires Registered Polysomnographic Technologist by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists or certified by ABSM as a Registered Sleep Technologist.
  • Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • May require RRT/CRT or Respiratory licenses. 
  •  5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of polysomnographic testing, scoring practices and procedures associated with an accredited sleep disorders center.
  • Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
