Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Learning and Organizational  Development (L&OD) Manager to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  Hybrid schedules will be offerered; however, this person must live in the local area.

The Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) Manager will provide needs assessment, design, development, delivery, and measurement of all learning processes.  They will collaborate with internal clients to identify position and group competencies, assess performance gaps, and recommend and implement learning and organizational development solutions – based on the Strategic Plan.  The L&OD Manager will deliver instructor-led (in-person and virtual) skills-based learning initiatives and eLearning courses for management, non-management, and hourly associates. 

The L&OD Manager will be responsible for measuring the impact of instructional programs, and generate appropriate metrics to demonstrate effectiveness, impact and return on investment.  In addition, they will partner with client groups to facilitate and lead process improvement initiatives related to increased work efficiency and reduced operational costs.  Travel will be up to 10%.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in training, education, HR, business or related field
  • 3 years experience in identifying position and group competencies, by conducting formal needs/gap analysis and data analysis
  • 3 years experience in designing, developing, and delivering instructor-led training for both management and non-management associates
  • 3 years experience measuring impact of instructional programs and generating appropriate metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment
  • 2 years experience in facilitating small and large group settings
  • 1 year experience implementing learning and organizational development processes to increase associate or group performance, including succession planning, change management, competency modeling, career development or other strategic talent or performance management initiatives
  • 1 year experience in process mapping, process improvement, and continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in training, education, HR or business-related field
  • Experience Coaching (ICF approved training preferred)
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline (or similar L&OD software)
  • LMS experience (Cornerstone preferred)
  • APTD or CPLP Certification Preferred (ATD local (or national) involvement is a bonus)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consults with HR or with client groups on learning and/or organizational development initiatives designed to increase associate or group performance.
  • Conducts formal needs and gap analysis and analyzes data to determine learning needs.
  • Works closely with client groups to identify position and group competencies.
  • Assess group and position needs and performance gaps.
  • Recommends and implements targeted learning and organizational development solutions.
  • Designs, develops and delivers instructor-led learning initiatives for both management and non-management associates.
  • Measures impact of instructional programs and generates appropriate metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment.
