As a Journeyperson Technician, you’ll perform automotive repairs and services to the highest standards, diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and document the repair process thoroughly.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality expectations.
• Maintain and manage an inventory of personal mechanic tools.
• Obtain and sustain manufacturer and ASE certifications through required training.
• Participate in technical training and review bulletins as assigned by management.
• Collaborate effectively with other dealership staff to meet customer needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in:
  • Lube and Maintenance Services
  • Engine Repair
  • Suspension and Steering Repair
  • Brake Repair
  • Heating and A/C Repair (Optional)
  • Certifications/Training:
  • Manufacturer certification in listed areas.
  • Minimum of 1 ASE certification (Master Technician preferred).

Experience:

• 3–5 years of automotive technical knowledge.
• Customer Pay Proficiency: Greater than 100% on Customer Pay Repairs.
