Position Summary:

Perform a variety of accounts payable tasks including, but not limited to, reviewing incoming invoices, posting invoices to the proper account, and providing support to the Accounting Department.

Job Duties

• Process and enter all invoices into the proper account to ensure accurate reporting.
• Process accounts payable timely and accurately to ensure all discounts available are taken.
• Audit invoices to ensure all charges on the invoice are appropriate.
• Ensure all product has been received.
• Perform three-way match between the Purchase Order, Receiver, and Invoice.
• Research and resolve any discrepancies found during the three-way match.
• Communicate with vendors to reconcile any discrepancies in payments.
• Communicate with the Accounting Department and assist in resolving Accounts Payable discrepancies with vendors, prepare reconciliations as required.
• Process non-PO type invoices after obtaining approval and account codes.
• Assist as needed with check run preparation, print checks, match invoices to payments, and prepare for mailing.
• Participate in Accounting Team meetings as scheduled.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Accounts Payable field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with PLEX
