This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.
- New York City: $125,000 - $145,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus. For jobs based out of our NYC HQ, we require in office attendance Tuesday through Thursday, weekly.
A Day in the Life
The Business Systems team supports the organization by maintaining and enhancing critical systems, focusing on B2B operations. We ensure smooth system operation through support, troubleshooting, and configuration. We customize systems to align with the B2B team's evolving needs, implementing workflow automation and customized reporting. We work closely with both Procurement and Security to roll out new tools and features for our team. Overall, the Business Systems team plays a vital role in streamlining processes, driving data-driven decision-making, and supporting organizational growth.
In this role, you will serve as the primary systems support and admin for Salesforce. You will be architecting the functionality of Salesforce in partnership with the Director of Business Systems and B2B team leadership, assisting in the buildout and integration of Salesforce with other B2B applications. You proactively reach out to the B2B or IT team questions when you are stuck on a request. When you aren’t tackling requests, you are thinking about how to improve the efficiency of the tools to ensure the teams can move with speed to grow. Your deep understanding of Salesforce’s capabilities, along with your technical expertise, will enable you to optimize and customize our system to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Serve as a system administrator and provide day-to-day support for Salesforce and related business systems, such as user access, account maintenance, reports, workflows, and permissions
- Manage the integrations of multiple systems and perform regular audits to ensure up-to-date processes and features
- Work with stakeholders to define system requirements and craft technical designs for efficient and rapid growth, along with implementing defined enhancements
- Document new processes, procedures, and support trainings for new hires on Salesforce and other relevant internal tools
- Invest in yourself to further your own skills and knowledge through self-directed learning, conferences, etc.
