A day in the life.

As our Contracting & Licensing Project Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll own and coordinate the end-to-end licensing and contracting workstreams that enable Employee Health & Benefits colleagues to perform regulated insurance activities in compliance with applicable state/jurisdiction requirements. This includes partnering with Compliance/Licensing teams to support onboarding, updates, renewals, and documentation workflows.

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes:

  • Project management & governance
    • Build and manage project plans, timelines, risks/issues, stakeholder communications, and reporting for licensing and contracting initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-functional activities across Compliance, Licensing Support, and operational teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
    • Experience managing cross-functional projects in a regulated environment (licensing/compliance/operations).
    • Demonstrated ability to manage structured onboarding workflows, documentation collection, and data accuracy in operational systems.
    • Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and process documentation skills.
  • Licensing operations coordination
    • Coordinate licensing onboarding activities, including collection of required documentation and demographic/profile updates in applicable systems (e.g., producer profile updates and onboarding steps referenced in internal guidance).
    • Support activities such as obtaining copies of existing licenses, starting initial licensing processes, affiliating to agency licenses, and maintaining accurate colleague demographic data needed for licensing workflows.
  • Regulatory / controlled-activity awareness
    • Maintain working knowledge of activities that may trigger licensing requirements (e.g., selling, soliciting, negotiating, consulting/advising regarding insurance benefits/terms/conditions), and help ensure work is routed/handled appropriately within licensed roles and processes.
  • Process improvement & documentation
    • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), handoffs, and controls to improve consistency, timeliness, and audit readiness for licensing and contracting work.
  • Success measures (examples we’d expect you to help deliver)
    • On-time completion of licensing onboarding/renewal milestones and reduced cycle times.
    • Fewer data/documentation defects and improved audit readiness for licensing-related records.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • Experience supporting insurance producer licensing operations and understanding of regulated insurance activities.
  • Familiarity coordinating with Compliance Specialists and Licensing Coordinators in queue-based onboarding/verification processes.

We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Don’t be shy. If you’re close, we’d be very interested in meeting you.
