GENERAL SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to assist with identify a marketing plan for the College. The position will be responsible for collaborating with the external vendor to develop and deliver marketing communications outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists in the development and implementation of a marketing communications and public relations plan, strategies, campaigns, and overall College branding.
Serves as the liaison to and collaborates with external marketing firm to ensure the College’s needs are met.
Coordinates the delivery of recruitment strategies and collateral by partnering with the Admissions team to assist in meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
Maintains working relationships with public relations contacts within the community to increase interest in the College.
Schedules social media and is the point person for digital content.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Experience creating, editing, and writing engaging content, including copy and video for digital platforms.
Experience managing and updating website content, with preferred knowledge of WordPress and search engine optimization.
Experience in marketing and/or communications including experience in the design and implementation of marketing strategies in a professional, volunteer, or student capacity.
Demonstrated strong relationship-building skills with an ability to foster team and networking collaborations.
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in an integrated, multifaceted approach to communication, marketing development, and deployment.
Strong strategic, creative, organizational, and planning skills.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills.
Experience with Adobe products and/or the ability to learn new software quickly.
Higher education experience preferred.
