Together we are a team with a wide variety of skills and experiences that tackle exciting challenges across all of Altos. The Scientist /&nbsp; Senior Scientist, Metabolomics Group Lead is responsible for end-to-end management of metabolomics and lipidomics projects, from experimental design through sample preparation, measurement, data processing and data delivery. This role partners cross-functionally with scientific and bioinformatics teams to ensure robust, reproducible data generation, maintain operational excellence of LC-MS platforms, and drive projects to successful and timely completion.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to define project objectives, assess feasibility, and establish clear deliverables and timelines<br><br></li> <li>Execute and supervise sample preparation workflows for steady-state metabolomics and lipidomics<br><br></li> <li>Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS instrumentation (e.g., Thermo Exploris 240, SCIEX 7500, Vanquish HPLC) to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime<br><br></li> <li>Optimize and adapt extraction protocols to support analysis of diverse and challenging biological samples<br><br></li> <li>Process and analyze raw datasets with software (e.g. Skyline, Compound Discoverer), and coordinate with bioinformatics teams to ensure accurate data processing, quality contro
