Summary of Role:
The Associate Director, SEC & Financial Reporting will join Lantheus as a key member of the Finance team. In collaboration with management, the Associate Director, SEC & Financial Reporting will take ownership of several aspects of the Company’s monthly close, consolidation, internal controls, internal management and SEC reporting processes including; preparation of the monthly consolidation and assist with internal management reporting packages; perform technical accounting research, analysis and communication; and, assist management in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and controls across the organization.
Key Responsibilities/Essential functions:
- Preparation of the Form 10-K, 10-Q and financial information related to the quarterly earnings releases, including working with internal management, investor relations and external auditors to ensure timely filings.
- Prepare month end consolidation including cash flow statement and ensure timely completion to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
- Works closely with Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations on the preparation of quarterly earnings release materials and other public-facing financial documents.
- Manage the Workiva software and help drive efficiencies in system and process
- Support with the monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting including Board of Directors, Audit Committee and CFO reporting.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the SEC calendar to inform business partners of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes: financial close, BOD package, press release and 10-Q/K.
- Prepare and/or review technical accounting position memos to support the company’s accounting conclusion on accounting transactions.
- Research recently issued technical US GAAP and SEC pronouncements, and interpret the corresponding implications to the organization.
- Assist in the setup and or maintenance of processes, systems and procedures that properly capture, track and report financial results, in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP and company policies
- Prepare and/or review month-end closing entries and reconciliations for assigned areas including stock compensation, intercompany eliminations, debt and earnings per share in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Responsible for equity and stock compensation transactions including expense, vestings, dilution, etc.
- Partner with legal team to review SEC filings including Form 3/4s and assist in preparation of annual proxy report.
- Oversee work performed by SEC accountants or other members of the accounting team, as approperiate.
- Assist in internal and external audit requests.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested.
