LEAD COPYWRITER, CRM

And are you ready to take your writing career to the next level? Merkle is looking for a Lead Copywriter to join our Experience Creative Group on the Promotions, Loyalty and Messaging team. As a Lead Copywriter, you'll help create brand narratives through performance-driven CRM messaging, including email, text and push tied to loyalty programs, gamification and experiential digital promotions. You will report to a Group Creative Director, and partner with art directors, designers and other creatives. 

• You can shape compelling brand narratives from concept to execution. 

• You bring groundbreaking creative ideas that connect with audiences across all channels. 

• You understand multiple CRM channels and know how to tailor inspiring copy for each of them. 

• You not only love the brand story and the strategy and tech enablement behind it 

• You have experience in retail, QSR, CPG crafting digital experiences 

• You collaborate, engage and receive feedback from team members. 

• You can sell work to our teams and client partners 

Qualifications 

• 7 years minimum experience in marketing copywriting 

• CRM/email writing experience of best practices 

• Experience in strategic copywriting for CRM and loyalty and promotions work a plus 

• Experience across multiple media, including email, SMS/MMS, push notifications, social and landing pages 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field required; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in CRM field required 

Additional Information 

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,000 – $83,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
