Job Description

What you get to do in this role:   

We’re looking for a senior staff product manager to drive the next evolution of our monitoring and investigative workflows. You'll be responsible for identifying and executing on opportunities to help users quickly understand the behavior of production applications, diagnose issues and reduce noise and issue fatigue. Our users operate some of the largest applications, representing billions of transactions and your goal will be to help these engineers and operators repeatedly make sense of their systems at scale, without deep specialist knowledge, quickly and with minimal effort. 

Example opportunities you might tackle:

  • Define and evolve the roadmap for easy-to-use enterprise wide automated anomaly detection 
  • Drive the expansion of simple to use, out-of-the-box monitoring use cases by bringing your deep user empathy and real world experiences - we do the heavy lifting so our users don’t have to
  • Strategize and execute on shortening the time for users to see meaningful insights from their observability telemetry so they can improve response times and reduce administrative burden

Qualifications

You would be a good fit if 

  • You have 8+ years of experience working as a Product Manager delivering positive outcomes based on research, data and industry trends
  • You have 3-5+ years of industry expertise working on or deploying cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes or Microservices (for example as a SRE / Engineer, Sales or Partner Engineer, Kubernetes Admin, etc.)
  • You have 2+ years of domain experience with Observability systems
  • You have a strong history of shipping developer-facing products that users loves with demonstrable success
  • You collaborate well-cross functionally – with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and marketing – to get an organization working together towards strategic objectives
  • You can take in evidence, integrate information from multiple sources, derive meaning from it, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environ
