You will have an opportunity to work with talented engineers in a global environment, building complex products, from proof of concept to production, targeted to meet our customers’ needs and the strategic objectives.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><b>The Role:</b></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span>In this role you’ll be part of the Global Sourcing department and report directly to the Global Commodity Manager based in Poland.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span>The Global Category Leader is responsible for Strategic definition and management of a sourcing category (<b>Electronic Components and Mechanical parts</b>) for all Markem-Imaje’s product range (Laser, Continuous Inkjet, Thermal Transfer, Print &amp; Apply machines…). In this role you’ll be responsible to plan, drive and implement Direct material spend purchasing activities under defined categories to meet supplier’s performance to Markem-Imaje standards.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span>You’ll have an opportunity to lead high level business and strategic negotiations in line with company strategy and partnering with senior management and key internal stakeholders.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p><br/> <span><span><span><span><b><span>What you will do:</span></b> </span></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Accountable to design, communicate and execute a roadmap for the annual plan and long-term strategy. </span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Ensure the bottom-up alignment of the sourcing activities with the top targets (productivity, T&amp;C improvements). Engage with key stakeholders on spend, budget visibility, defined roadmaps and driving adhesion to commodity strategy.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supply base risk Management (yearly plan and risk mitigation).</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Define and manage the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) including contracting.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Contributes to the global Direct Material &amp; Supply Base Performance. Ensure consistent application of all sourcing levers. Accountable for the setting of and achievement of the objectives of cost optimization and supply base optimization. Pilot Sourcing KPIs, Ensure compliance and application of sourcing process.</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Represent commodities within the Product Division organization (innovation, supplier selection, etc..).
