Physicians Assistant - Primary Care

Position Summary

Physicians Assistant will provide a full range of ambulatory primary care health care services for the MSU student community and will work in the Campus Health Services Primary Care Clinic. Will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for acute illness and injury as well as for chronic medical conditions, including depression and anxiety. Will provide medical record chart documentation that supports diagnoses and thought process for treatment plan. The successful candidate would be committed to understanding and providing high quality care for the special needs of University students. Clinic hours range from 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in an approved Physician Assistant program; State of Michigan license, and certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants, or to be obtained within six months of hire; one to three years of experience as a Physician's Assistant.
