Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end Account Payables process :
- Monitor and process monthly accounts payable transactions,
- Record payables and input transactions in SAP
- Generate and reconcile financial reports
- Assist AP Work flow
- Be accountable for overall Accounting functions for an entity which covers AP/AR, month end closing, management reporting, taxation etc.
- Manage the collection of financial information, and the compilation of financial statements/management reports. Ensure the effectiveness of controls and integrity of financial information.
- Coordinate the annual audit, Corporate tax filing
- Support the enhancement on regulatory requirement (SOX, legal, tax & treasury)
- Participate in ad hoc finance projects
- VAT preparation
This covers the main tasks and conveys the spirit of the sort of tasks that are anticipated proactively from staff. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary according to organizational needs.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting discipline
- Student member of an international recognized professional accounting body is preferred
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience working in fast-paced MNC professional services firm
- Experienced in statutory and management financial reporting
- Ability to interact professionally with different levels of staff, including senior management groups
- Being hands-on and pro-active in dealing with finance matters
- Independent, willing to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP is preferred
- Fluent in English
