What You Will Do:
Guidehouse’s team of clinicians and former administrators, government leaders, and health plan executives help healthcare organizations undertake cross-continuum clinical transformation efforts to generate sustained improvements in care access, efficiency, quality, and reliability. Areas of expertise include care and utilization management, throughput, post-acute care and readmissions, pharmacy and infusion, care transformation, and enabling care at home. Our person-centered approach engages and integrates clinical and operational workstreams that touch all aspects of the care continuum. 

 
Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years 

  • Minimum Degree Status: Graduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program through Fall 2024 and graduate by Summer 2025) 

  • Would not require sponsorship now or anytime in the future to work in the United States; Students possessing F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded from interview schedules or being hired for this position. 

 

If a candidate does not have the requisite experience and education, they may be submitted to the Consultant opportunity for consideration.  


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • MBA, MHA, MA, MS or similar degree with degree concentrations in Health Administration, Health Informatics, Health Management, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies or similar is preferred 

  • Previous consulting experience is preferred 

  • Knowledge of Business Analytics software Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL 

  • Strong knowledge of and application of healthcare research resources 

  • Understanding of market/financial analysis in context of healthcare provider needs 

  • Strong quantitative and organizational skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate written and oral communication and presentation skills 

  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills 

  • Facility with and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to translate data into graphic or visual representations

  • Heavy travel (east coast to west coast) may be required, depending on client assignment
