Job Description

  • Comply with AbbVie’s Code of Conduct and all relevant company policies.
  • Perform both on-demand and preventive maintenance independently to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to root cause investigations of equipment malfunctions and participate in reliability-centered maintenance analyses.
  • Provide training and mentorship to other technicians as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple skilled trade disciplines.
  • Possess intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Exhibit advanced expertise in core job functions and perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and site safety projects within the maintenance organization and broader site.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulation.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions. • CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
  • Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools) • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
