Job Description
AECOM is seeking a New England Traffic Discipline Leader as a Hybrid Position with the option of working from any office in New England, including Boston, MA, Chelmsford, MA, Rocky Hill, CT, Manchester, NH, or Providence, RI.

Job Summary
As the New England Traffic Discipline Leader, you will lead a dynamic team of talented professionals in creating innovative and impactful transportation solutions. Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction, fostering a collaborative and energized work environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and excellence in design.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering individual growth, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit to deliver exceptional design solutions
- Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and client specifications
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including MassDOT, CTDOT, RIDOT, NHDOT, MBTA, and others, serving as their trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and goals
- Business Development: Lead business development efforts, serve in professional organizations, meet new potential clients, and lead proposal development.
- Design Excellence: Champion innovative design concepts, applying your expertise in traffic engineering to develop comprehensive and efficient transportation solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Oversee several types of traffic
Other Responsibilities include:
- Traffic Engineering studies that include traffic generation, simulation/modeling, analyzing crash data sets, and traffic impact analyses.
- Development of Traffic Engineering plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) including signs, pavement markings, traffic signals, roundabouts, and traffic management plans/temporary traffic control.
- Construction services for Traffic Engineering projects - review submittals, respond to requests for information, offer field advice, etc.
- Support design-bid-build and design-build projects.
- Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in traffic design and transportation engineering, integrating new ideas into project approaches and driving
