The Position

The CS&M Transformation Strategist is responsible for supporting commercial transformation by ensuring connectivity between different functions and leads across the organization. This role will lead program management support for large scale commercial transformation initiative. It will also collaborate with learning partners to guide the development of essential capabilities, skills, and the new ways of working.

 

Relationships

Reports to Strategic Planning & Operations within Commercial Strategy & Marketing organization. Connects to and collaborates with different functions and leaders involved in commercial transformation goals and activities to identify opportunities for synergies and shared learning. Connects to and collaborates with CS&M leadership team to drive CS&M transformation. Partners with the Employee Experience team to prioritize skills and capabilities in support of the broader organizational strategies. Works closely with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and effectiveness to build capability in function. The CS&M Transformation Strategist will have the CS&M Strategic Engagement and Culture Lead reporting to them.

 

Essential Functions

  • Program Management: Lead initiatives related to program management for Commercial Strategy and Marketing transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful planning to execution of programs
  • Change Activation: Lead change activation through guiding teams throughout the commercial transformation journey. Address challenges and resistance, fostering a positive and adaptive mindset
  • Connectivity Across Functions: Connect to and collaborate with different functions and leaders involved in CS&M Transformation goals and activities to identify opportunities for synergies and shared learning
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of CS&M Transformation programs
  • People Development and Coaching: Responsible for setting and communicating clear individualized role expectations for each report based on position, skills, talents, and objectives. Ensure that reporting personnel have strengths-based individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business. Provide regular coaching of reports that prioritizes appropriate challenging, development, feedback, regular recognition, and support

 

Physical Requirements

20-30% overnight travel required.

 

Development of People

Ensure that reporting personnel have individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.

 

Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.

 

Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.

 

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, Communications or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in organization transformation required; Alternatively candidates with 10 years of relevant experience in transformation, program management, organizational development, organizational change or
