Production Manager - Pharma (Schimatari)

ManpowerGroupGreece, on behalf of its client, one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical product manufacturing industries in Greece, is looking for a “Production Manager” for its factory facilities in Schimatari.

Purpose

The Production Manager will be reporting directly to the Plant Director.
The role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising all production and packaging activities, as well as for achieving financial, quality and quantity targets of the production.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the smooth operation of the production and packaging departments.
• Controls compliance with GMP standards in all processes.
• Monitors the quality indicators of the production.
• Controls the maintenance of the premises and production equipment.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety rules to provide a safe working environment.
• Participates in the inspection committees of NOM (National Organization of Medicines).
• Responsible for training employees in solid form production techniques.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy.
• At least three (3) years of work experience in an equivalent position of pharmaceutical industry.
• Desirable experience in solid production plants.
• Excellent knowledge of GMP standards.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Fluency in English language.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
