Senior Controlling Expert(m/f/d)

<p> | Finance &amp; Accounting | Professional | Non-Executive | Allianz Services | Full-Time | Permanent</p> <p> </p> <p>Our Central Controlling &amp; Pricing team in AZ Services is searching for a Senior Controlling Expert to help us provide meaningful data and insights for the financial steering of the organization.<br/> You will report to the Head of Controlling &amp; Pricing at AZ Services and will have an impact on all financial controlling topics: planning, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, analyzing, and challenging financial KPIs and their main drivers for run services, projects and line cost centers in close collaboration with the business. You will advise managers and global/local service owners on all controlling topics. You will drive and coordinate process standardization, optimization, and automation of internal financial processes. Furthermore, you will report and steer strategic financial KPIs including OE Benefits collection &amp; calculation process, calculation methodology, recognition principles, and portal.  </p> <p> </p> <p>What you do:</p> <ul> <li>Own OE Benefits collection and calculation process</li> <li>Evolve OE Benefits calculation methodology</li> <li>Develop OE Benefits recognition principles </li> <li>Run OE Benefits portal</li> <li>Report &amp; steer monthly strategic KPIs</li> <li>Automation-driven FTE reduction</li> <li>End-to-end managed, scalable, vertical, standardized, and globalized services</li> <li>Transaction-based pricing</li> <li>Upscaling/ verticalization ambition</li> <li>Process improvement/ automation ambition</li> <li>Create and provide financial analysis, reports and dashboards for different stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly)</li> <li>Monitor actuals vs. plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and track ongoing progress of different plans and major projects</li> <li>Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis</li> <li>Drive standardization, optimization, and automation of internal financial processes </li> <li>Drive best practice sharing, efficiency increases, and standards setting for controlling topics</li> <li>Develop global controlling topics and work with Central and Local Controlling &amp; Pricing team members in an international setup</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Further responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deputize or substitute when needed the direct line manager</li> <li>Provide guidance and feedback to more junior team members in both Central and Local Controlling &amp; Pricing teams</li> <li>Take over functional leadership role for near-/offshore colleagues and further support their development</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What you bring:</p> <ul> <li>University degree in finance, business administration, economics or relevant work experience</li> <li>Fluency in both written and spoken English language</li> <li>10+ years of work experience within Controlling / Financial Steering in an international matrix organization or in comparable consulting company</li> <li>Experience working with systems relevant for Controlling, e.g., SAP FI-CO/BW/SAC</li> <li>Experience applying controlling-related local and international standards </li> <li>Experience using analytics, moderation and presentation techniques to address different stakeholders at all levels of seniority</li> <li>Experience solving complex topics based on multiple sources of information </li> <li>Intrapreneurial attitude and desire to bring new approaches into our company from concept phase down to implementation level</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad</li> <li>We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)</li> <li>From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered</li> <li>Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
