CACI seeks a Technical Writer who will support a large, multi-year contract for our client at the (CDC) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
What You'll Get To Do:
You'll be responsible for developing and editing technical documents to accurately communicate scientific information to various audiences. Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including standard operating procedures documentation, user guides, training presentations, project documentation. Creates documentation for projects; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides technical writing for program and operational documentation.
Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information. Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology.
Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
Reviews content of technical documentation for quality.
Produces technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements.
Provides documentation in presentation-ready quality output using advanced word processing or desktop publishing software.
Utilize a variety of media forms; include images and charts
Analyze current content and make improvements as necessary
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant writing experience or a Master's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Strong technical writing skills with clear, concise, and complete manner.
Strong listening skills to capture the necessary information from subject matter experts
Strong grammar skills to include punctuation, spelling, usage.
Strong oral communication skills.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
