Banner Gateway Medical Center (in Gilbert, AZ) is currently seeking a Full-Time Day-Shift Patient Care Assistant CNA / LNA to join our Med/Surg Team! It is preferred to have acute care experience, but we are open to all levels, new PCAs, SNF/LTAC, group home experience. This is a 31 bed unit. Team comprised of RNs, LPNs, PCAs, and Health Unit coordinator. We also have 1 Associate Director (Nursing Leader), a CSA who manages timecards and scheduling, and a ROSS who manages onboarding, education, and training. PCA ratios are generally 1 PCA: 8-12 patients. ​You are responsible for vitals signs, blood glucose checks, weights, ADLs, I&Os, encouraging mobility & incentive spirometer use. In addition, you will be answering call lights in conjunction with nursing staff. We are looking for a team player who is ready to work and learn. This is a fast-paced floor with several admits and discharges daily. • Full-Time Day Shift Available (3-12 hour shifts)
• Shift Hours can be from 7:00am - 7:30pm
• Varied Shifts = could be working days nights, weekends.
• There are no set schedules
• Weekend Rotations are required in this role. 2 Weekend shifts required each month
• Rotating Holidays Required - 1 major and 1 minor
• Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-Night Shift differential when applicable

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center Located in Gilbert, Ariz. (the Phoenix Metro area) on the Banner Gateway Campus, the center provides world-class care for oncology patients - both inpatient and outpatient - and has also brought leading oncology programs to the Banner Gateway campus including designation as a Stem Cell Transplant Center of Excellence and comprehensive Head & Neck cancer care. Our capabilities include five linear accelerator vaults, a brachytherapy vault, an advanced diagnostic imaging suite with PET/CT scan, more than 70 infusion bays, a cryopreservation lab and much more. Our inpatient medical oncology unit also incorporates a program that utilizes the electronic surveillance partnership in caring for the patient, where remote nurses have the ability to interact with patients via two-way audio-video to assist the bedside nurse with patient care.
